In its simplest sense, a company's marketing supply chain is the system that has been created to develop, produce and distribute the marketing materials and supplies the business needs to operate and grow.

This supply chain is often comprised of numerous partners inside and outside of the organization – such as brand managers, agencies, direct sales teams, printers, fulfillment houses, and others – all interconnected through often very complicated relationships.
